Some Developments

We've had a few developments on issues we've been working on and I thought I'd fill you in.
You may have missed it, but the attorney general had this to say in a speech recently:
“There is absolutely no evidence that anybody who rendered a legal opinion either with respect to surveillance or with respect to interrogation policy did so for any reason other than to protect the security of the country and in the belief that he or she was doing something lawful.”
Congressman Jerry Nadler and I had a forceful response which you can read about here.
We have also learned that the DOJ is re-opening its investigation of the Don Siegelman prosecution after the emergence of whistleblower allegations of prosecutorial misconduct.

It's OK, you don't have to pretend any more.
There is a reason Mr. Mukasy said there is no evidence of criminal activity.
They've been afforded plenty of time to destroy all possible evidence. By you.
What I am surprised about is the possibility that Mr. Conyers is stupid enough to believe there would be any other answer.
How many "Go fuck yourself"'s do you need to hear before you stop acting surprised?

Go fuck yourself, and stop pretending you care. You've allowed Bush to remain in office. You are responsible for every acre of parkland Bush is reopening to be raped by miners. You are responsible for Bush's new Pollute America's Streams initiative.
When Pelosi told you to use your prosecutorial discretion to take impeachment off the table, and you accepted the challenge, you assumed responsibility for any fallout due to his future actions.
You can't have it both ways Mr. Conyers.
How many streams will now be polluted, how many mountain tops will be decimated, how many children will get asthma, how much damage will be done to the environment, due to your exercise of selective enforcement regarding Bush's impeachment?
Like I said, you don't have to pretend to like us any more.
Look at the environmental damage your inaction has caused alone.
Mr. Conyers, what did we do to you, for you to do this to us? Screwing us is one thing, Bush polluting our water, and raping our resources, is a direct result of your inaction.
But hey, that sure was a good election season for you and Old Nance wasn't it? Who cares if we can't breathe the air or drink the water?
