I've discovered a conflict in instructions in sealing and signing the absentee ballot I received here in Lee County, FL. Congressman Conyers, I reported it to the number that you posted, and I was forwarded to someone who wants to see a fax of my finding. I've posted it at the forum at Black Box Voting . org and I'm going to copy, get notary signature and fax to this person, and hand deliver a copy of my finding to the Democratic office and to the Supervisor of Elections.

It may not be anything major, but if it disinfranchises people, it's worth the effort.

The bad news is Joe Lieberman is back and more powerful than ever. The good news is, it looks as though there are now fifty Democrats in the Senate, fourty nine Rebels, and Joe. This is much better than it could have been. Though it could have been much better.

And of course, the House is in the bag.

Pats on the back all around. Congratulations to Congressman Conyers on account of another BIG win. Is that about 21 in a row, now?

Now seems the time to make a couple obvious suggestions. I suggest everyone notice our job descriptions have just changed. We now get to start actually fixing the damage that has so horrified so many for so long. This is work. Sorry about that. And, we may need to change our methods to get it done. Not much, but some.

To begin with, I'm going to write a couple notes expressing my thanks to a couple politicians who did not win. One to Lamont, who spent $12,000,000 or more, most of it his, and made a huge contribution to our success. The other to Simpson, who ran on a shoestring in a district the party abandoned against a well known incumbant of long tenure, and managed to aquire one-third of the Vote.

After this, I am going to write Ms. Pelosi and ask if she was serious when she said there would be no impeachment. And is it automatic that she would be the Speaker, or would there be a Vote. And if there were, would there be any other issue.

One Hundred Hours.

Congratulations, Congressman Conyers, and congratulations, fellow bloggers. This victory feels like I died and woke up in a brand new world filled with hope and promise! Like some of the shackles that bound us to this Administration, which was marching all of us over the cliff like a hoard of mad lemmings, have been removed!

The wait and anticipation that brought us to this day feels like a lifetime of wandering toward an oasis in a desert, but when we finally reached it, it wasn't an oasis. It was real!

I dearly hope you are soon announced the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Congressman JC. Nothing could make me happier.

With angels on our side, we will also have the Senate. Extra vigilance on observers' part will hopefully assure that.

I want to dance a jig I'm so tickled pink over the elections! Rusty, put your ballet shoes on!

If Tester and Webb pull it out, watch for Rumsfeld to re-sign (to spend time with his family), and for Bush to appoint Lieberman to DefSec, then the republican governor of Connecticut will appoint a republican to replace Lieberman in the senate, thus swinging control back to GOP.

Finally the gavel gets passed to the good guys!

Congratulations are deserved all the way around. The netroots movement has demonstrated the power to motivate the voters to get out and vote like no other movement in recent memory. Do not take this news as just another small item. Most GOTV programs have no impact on voter turnout and weather usually has the biggest impact in a midterm election. But it was not to be this year! Voters turned out in droves in spite of bad weather and I attribute it to all of our efforts.

As a matter of fact, I believe when all the counting is done; the voter turnout will be unprecedented for a midterm election, rising to at or above turnout in presidential elections.

The American people know the truth and they have spoken. George W. Bush, you have spent all your political capital and then some.

Congratulations, Congressman Conyers. Your steadfastness and tireless efforts these six long years have been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement to us all. And together, WE DID IT!

It is a brand new day and, here, in Chicagoland, the sun is shining brightly. A new day, filled with renewed hope, spirit, energy, and thoughts. Our hearts are "singing" for the first time in six long years. A bright light is beaming on this glorious, historical day.

Now, the REAL work is ahead. Repeal of all the unconstitutional laws that have been put in place. Rapid commencement of investigations toward impeachment. Criminal trials for all the violations of international and constitutional laws. This country CANNOT AFFORD another such "takeover" and must be rendered "safe" from a like "plague" in the future. Please take a moment of your time to remind us and the world what you intend to do with Phase II of the 9/11 commission investigation, the DSM investigations, the impending voting fraud investigations, and all those other investigations that have been waiting for congressional action for the past 5 years.

I already know, but I really, really have got to hear it from you. I've been waiting so long for this day. Just a few words about your agenda for the next 2 years would be the sweetest sounds I imagine I will ever hear.

Dear Representative Conyers, congratulations on your electoral victory. It is good to know that you will lead the Judiciary committee. Years of Republican leadership have cost the people of the USA enough, and it is high time for some meaningful changes.

I heard a rumor that you (along with Rep. Pelosi) said Impeachment was "off the table." I was startled to hear this. Is there any truth to it? With all your investigative work regarding the Bush administration's suspected malfeasance, I have to believe that impeachment is clearly on the table, so long as a proper investigation finds reason to hold Mr. Bush et al. accountable for their suspected misleadership and wrong doing.

It appears he has an intelligence-twisting history. Looks like a member of the old-boy network.

Fact of the matter is, that it is also coming out of Bush's Mouth.

Simon seems not yet to have recovered. From an election night binge. His writing is blurry. So is his thinking. And he has yet to complete the transition from yesterday to now. His motives are as mixed as his metaphores. There is a lot of this stuff going around.

Example ; Used to be we were criminals, now the word is, our oppressors want to work with us, instead of going to jail without passing go. You know what this means. They don't want us to do to them what they were trying to do to us, yesterday. That way, they can work the situation until they can arrainge to climb back on top, tomorrow, and then, we will be criminals again.

Example ; The pottery barn rule is, you break it, you bought it. This is entirely appropriate and acceptable, AT THE POTTERY BARN, where it is posted, and where I do not have to go. But the topic is not pottery. The topic is not even Iraq. The topic IS "!====>Why Are We There?<====!" And of course :

Is not the answer to the question. It is in fact the refusal to answer. It is the face put on the attempt to "Stay the Course" now that We the People have voted otherwise. The simple truth is, we are there because we invaded. And because we haven't yet left. And the why of both these things is the same.

The criteiria put forward as preconditions to our exit from Iraq are (check this out) Calculated to be Unreachable. And also, predicated on oligarcic, not democratic, principles. The disarming of the Militias, as prime example. Whence comes the notion that these militias are illegitimate? Whence comes the notion that a democratic government may disarm its' People? And whence comes the notion that a democratic government has anything to fear from an armed populace, or could be protected by an unarmed populace? And yet, the Militias are to be disarmed, as precondition to our, eventual, withdrawl. Critieria such as these make clear that the government we installed in Iraq is not the Government Iraqies would have created with thier own hands had they the FREEDOM to do so, Make clear that it is intended not to serve them, but to ruthlessly impose control on them.

Being disinclined to this goal themselves, our Army is being used to protect the government we imposed on the People of Iraq. And will not leave untill the job is done. And the job will never be done. The Government of Iraq will fall, on the Tuesday after the first Monday after our Army stops protecting The Government of Iraq from the People of Iraq. This, it is said, will be a disaster, but for whom? And for everyone else, is not disaster what we have right now?

And didn't all this get started with a lie? Which we are now, again, being told we should, must, can, not look at? For some reason?

It is clean sheet of paper time. Write this down ;

Huffington Post had a story up about CNN censorship which I largely ignored. But then I happened across this story today on Raw Story. Now my interest is piqued again, so I ACTUALLY watched the video, then it hit me...

Why does this story keep coming back? It may seem small on the surface at first, but after a little research, it then takes a wild turn into the unbelievable. But before the full story blasts to the surface, censorship comes from the highest levels. Here are a few tips of the iceberg that surface and disappear: Ken Mehlman (newest), Mark Foley, Ted Haggard, Dennis Hastert, Jeff Gannon, Karl Rove, Porter Goss & Co, Duke Cunningham, Wade & Wilkes.....

So why does this story keep coming up? I'll tell you why, because it is true! It is exploitation and manipulation at the highest levels of our governmemnt. IMHO it is the secret "Team B"

As part of the Halloween massacre Rumsfeld and Cheney pushed out CIA director William Colby and replaced him with George H.W. Bush, then the U.S. plenipotentiary to China. The CIA had been uncooperative with the Rumsfeld/Cheney anti-détente campaign. Instead of producing intelligence reports simply showing an urgent Soviet military buildup, the CIA issued complex analyses that were filled with qualifications. Its National Intelligence Estimate on the Soviet threat contained numerous caveats, dissents and contradictory opinions. From the conservative point of view, the CIA was guilty of groupthink, unwilling to challenge its own premises and hostile to conservative ideas.

The new CIA director was prompted to authorize an alternative unit outside the CIA to challenge the agency's intelligence on Soviet intentions. Bush was more compliant in the political winds than his predecessor. Consisting of a host of conservatives, the unit was called Team B. A young aide from the Arms Control and Disarmament Agency, Paul Wolfowitz, was selected to represent Rumsfeld's interest and served as coauthor of Team B's report. The report was single-minded in its conclusion about the Soviet buildup and cleansed of contrary intelligence. It was fundamentally a political tool in the struggle for control of the Republican Party, intended to destroy détente and aimed particularly at Kissinger. Both Ford and Kissinger took pains to dismiss Team B and its effort. (Later, Team B's report was revealed to be wildly off the mark about the scope and capability of the Soviet military.)

Doesn't this sound familiar? Does the White House Iraq Group strike a chord?

Now you may ask, "Where is this guy going with this and what does the WHIG have to do with Bill Maher and a gay Ken Mehlman?" First let me make a prediction, Bill Maher will come under trememdous pressure to NOT make good with his promise to Larry King on Larry King Live for his friday night show.

Now, why do I make this prediction? Because this very same scenario happened over a decade ago. The first three minutes of this fifty five minute video will explain it all.

I believe that this group is fully intact and continues to operate today from within our government and outside of government controls. They use all of the known tactics: fear, exploitation, manipulation, spying, and censorship. It is their inability to censor blogs that makes bloggers so dangerous.

So tune into Bill Maher's show tomorrow and see if he actually says what he alluded to on Larry King Live wednesday night. If he does, I will be surprised.
